I Went Crazy
I Went Crazy
by Dr. Todd Royse
Firm Foundation Coaching
When I was first in practice, I went crazy doing screenings, talks in the community, telling the story in the supermarket when I saw people buying advil (it doesn’t deserve to be capitalized) or nyquil (same), and especially in the office. There were two troubles with this: one, I didn’t really know how to communicate the story in a way that made people want to pay, stay, and refer. Two, my team was even worse, and even if they did give a rip, they didn’t have a clue about leading patients to pay, stay, and refer.
It was frustrating to work so hard, day in, day out, only to show much of my effort go to waste because we didn’t have the communication system in place to lead families into lifetime care and into referring other families like themselves. It was certainly frustrating financially, but even worse to me was that I wasn’t truly fulfilling my purpose of seeing parents get truly healthy and bringing their kids up in the Chiropractic model.
I was convinced I just needed to hire better people who were just born loving Chiropractic and were just dying to take an office to 1000 patient visits per week collecting well over $100K per month, living, eating, sleeping, and breathing ChiropracTIC. What I’ve come to learn is that those people are not born that way, they are trained that way. And that it’s not just the CA’s who need training (though the Lord knows they do), but it’s even more important that the doctors be trained. As busy as Dr. Paul and I are running high-volume practices, we’ve come to know that without
training, it’s impossible to get there and even harder to stay there!
Even better is when the doctors and their teams are a united front, all surfing on the same wave (I mention surfing
because of Dr. Paul’s and my recent surfing venture in LA (surfing attempt is a better word) before our last seminar, where Paul saw a big shark right underneath him, but that’s another story.) We have created high-volume, high-collection, high-referral, high-retention, high-FUN clinics where we don’t need to do 10 screenings a month and 20 talks, and we don’t spend $3000 per month on advertising. The way we do it is with the proper system.
Our teams know what to say when, how NOT to miss that key referral opportunity when they overhear a patient say that their cousin’s brother’s sister has asthma and she’s taking advair. They know the correct positioning for a care plan you’ve just worked so hard to get your patients to pay for so you can help them. They know how to tell the story in a way that people want it.
Our clients know how to tell the story better than ever, too! That’s why Dr. Dan just had 3 "best evers" last month, and
why Dr. Troy just had his highest volume and highest collection month by over $15,000 in August! We want to teach your team to do the same thing. We want you to see more patients and collect more money than ever, but really we want to see you have the joy of serving tons of families and being turned on to lifetime Chiropractic. We want
to see this planet transformed!
So we made a Team Training Camp that we’re hosting in Portland November 9th and 10th, where we’re gonna teach you and your team the exact procedures and communication strategies we still use every day in our offices to serve the masses and collect abundantly. At this camp your team will become transformed into a United Front Machine! Please come join us for a weekend that will forever alter the course of your life and your practice. Call 866-878-0111.
